Abstract

One of the primary global health issues that are still affecting the world today is physical inactivity, which is one of the main contributors to many lifestyle-related diseases like heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and joint problems. Sedentary behaviours are becoming increasingly prevalent, and people who live with physical or sensory limitations have limited access to a program that provides an organized structure to engage in physical activity. We need innovative, inclusive, and technology-enabled interventions. This paper presents an AI virtual fitness personal trainer that integrates computer vision, pose estimation, and multilingual voice output components to provide safe, effective, and independent opportunities for physical activity. The virtual fitness trainer utilizes deep-learning models that can estimate posture and form, while a Natural Language Processing (NLP)-enabled voice module provides real-time, multilingual instruction, coaching, and motivational feedback. The proposed discovery includes a web-based exercise platform that mitigates the need for advanced sensor-based or hardware-specific exercise technologies and can be accessible to users virtually anywhere on a web-enabled device. Computational experimentation validated that recognition accuracy, activity engagement, and inclusivity all improved over prior models. This research will begin to push the boundaries of equitable access to digital health technology by merging artificial intelligence, human-centric design thinking, inclusive ideology, and socially conscious and meaningful scale and adaptability in wellness design.
