Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (IJAIML) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, integrity, and transparency in scholarly publishing. The journal adheres to the ethical guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) where applicable.

All stakeholders involved in the publication process — including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher — are expected to comply with these ethical standards.

  1. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to IJAIML must ensure that:

  • Originality and Plagiarism:

Submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere. All sources must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form (including self-plagiarism) is unacceptable.

  • Data Integrity and Reproducibility:

Authors must present accurate data and provide sufficient details to allow reproducibility. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.

  • Multiple or Redundant Publication:

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.

  • Authorship Criteria:

Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript.

  • Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest:

Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts that may influence the results or interpretation of their work.

  • Use of AI Technologies:

The use of AI tools (e.g., for language editing or data analysis) must be transparently disclosed. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the content.

  1. Responsibilities of Editors

If misconduct is suspected or confirmed:

  • The manuscript may be rejected or retracted.
